On April 10th, we served the community in the Philippines through our Service Project. We travelled throughout the underprivileged areas in Manila and handed out cups of chocolate porridge to children.
It was a very enjoyable experience to be able to meet children from different countries, and also collaborate with students from other ACSC (Asia Christian School Conference). There were intense, hot weather conditions that I was not used to; however, it was extremely rewarding to see how happy and grateful the children were. These direct interactions motivated me to continue my activities on KL Hands and to work towards more projects like this.
